  • Mountain-bike ride along the Canal du Midi (14:00-17:00)

You’ll enjoy a beautiful cycle ride from Beziers, along the Canal du Midi, to the sea.  You’ll visit the towns of Villeneuve-les-Beziers and Portiragnes along the way, and finish at the Roque Haute bridge, with the beach at Portiragnes Plage nearby for a refreshing swim.

  • Barge trip on the Canal du Midi (14:00-17:00)

Cruises and barge trips on the Canal du Midi at Béziers, discovering the major historic structures constructed by Riquet:  the 9 locks at Fonserane and the Malpas tunnel.

  • Truffles and Olives Day (8:30 – 4:00)

This day out includes hunting for truffles with dogs, tasting a variety of olive oils and a meal featuring truffles and olive oil.  A word from the producer:  “It was my passion for this tastiest of treasures that inspired me to reclaim the land abandoned by my great grandfather and then to buy other land on the Pech de Bize foothills to replant the oaks with mycorrhizal fungi under which grows the Tuber Melanosporum, the black truffle”.

  • Catamaran at sunset (cocktail + dinner included)

Venture out for a cruise aboard a sailing maxi-catamaran, where you’ll experience a relaxing sea voyage, stop for a swim, and watch the sunset with a meal and cool drinks!

  • Kayak or Paddle on the Orb River

At Béziers, the Orb River allows you to discover the town’s most beautiful historic monuments in an original way  –  going with the flow of the water!

  • Jet ski excursions

Jet-skiing at the Cap d’Agde beach resort.  Trips on water scooters and on jet-skis to Agde in the Herault region.  On our jet-ski trips you’ll discover Sète, Marseillan beach, Rochelongue, Fort Brescou, the Deux Frères rock, the Grau d’Agde, the Tamarissière, Vias beach, Sérignan beach and Portiragnes.

  • Oysters & wines from Thau day

Appreciate the perfect match of oysters and Picpoul de Pinet wine on the waterside. You’ll discover the secrets of these two regional products through visiting a winemaking estate and a shellfish farm.

  • Visit to Carcassonne and its mediaeval city

The “City” of Carcassonne is a mediaeval architectural complex that’s to be found at the town of Carcassonne of the same name. This mediaeval fortified city, the origins of which go back to the Gallo-Roman age, owes its fame to its double line of battlements that are almost 3 km long and include 52 towers that spectacularly overlook the Aude valley. The City also houses a castle and a basilica. Its defence system is remarkable for its size and complexity and the quality of its preservation. It’s the biggest fortress in Europe! Today the City has a number of hotels, restaurants and shops that delight tourists from all over the world.

  • Visit to the port of Sète, known as “Little Venice” with the Thau lagoon

Sète is the leading French port on the Mediterranean.  Mont Satin Clair offers a great panorama of the whole town and its surroundings.  Sète is a town that’s very popular with tourists, especially in the summer season. It stands beside the waters of the Mediterranean Sea and of the Thau lagoon and it’s easy to get around by car or by boat!

  • Visit to Béziers, the wine capital and homeland of Pierre-Paul Riquet

Béziers was built by the Greeks in the 6th century B.C.  According to some archaeologists, it’s the oldest city in France!  The town is located in Languedoc Roussillon, overlooking the Orb River and the Canal du Midi from a picturesque site.  It’s to be found in the heart of the largest vineyard region in the world.  Béziers is 5 km from the beach and 50 from the mountains.  It’s a charming city, full of history that we’ll help you discover.

  • Visit to Narbonne and its Roman remains

Narbonne is a town that was founded by the Romans in 118 B.C.  Its centre still shows the traces of many centuries of history. The ancient port of Narbonne was considered as the second most important port of the Roman Empire in the north-western Mediterranean after Ostia, the port of Rome. Narbonne has several museums reflecting its rich history, which we’ll enjoy sharing with you.

  • Visit to Montpellier, the “thousand year old” city

On the shores of the Mediterranean is Montpellier, the 8th largest city in France – you’ll be beguiled by its warmth, its thirst for culture and its festive feeling. This thousand-year old city is home to the oldest medical university in Europe that’s still active.  The historic city centre is still remarkable today as it has remained the heart of the city:  a modern city with the aura of the past and the charm of a town where people feel at ease.

  • Visit to Nîmes and the Pont du Gard aqueduct

Nîmes was founded in ancient times.  It retains from the Roman age some remarkable and outstanding monuments such as the arenas, the Maison Carrée and the Magne tower, at the foot of which is the splendid sanctuary of the Fontaine.

The Pont du Gard is one of the most spectacular Roman monuments still existing in France!  It’s a Roman aqueduct bridge on three levels and represents the monumental part of an aqueduct more than 50 km long that brought water from the Fountain of Eure, at the foot of Uzès, to the Roman town of Nemausus, today called Nîmes.

  • Treetop Adventure Course

Come and test your agility on 10 courses of increasing difficulty in a natural and pleasant setting in complete safety. This activity allows you to discover thrills perfectly safely through courses that link the trees together and enable you to move from one to the other by means of platforms and taut cables.

* and lots of others.

Progress on these courses is monitored by qualified personnel and every user is fitted with appropriate equipment to offer a fun and/or sporting activity in complete safety for young and old alike.
This new concept is suitable for everybody and can be practised from 3 years old upwards.
The activity is both fun and sporting and is done in natural surroundings, alone or in a group, with a great feeling of surpassing yourself.

  • Horse-riding

Various excursions are available for horse-riders, with a choice of locations-
sea, lagoon, agricultural plain, beach or the Canal du Midi.
During the ride, you may come across:
* pink flamingos
* a ranch with horses and bulls
* a shepherd and his sheep.

  • the Cap d’Agde water park

With shady places for relaxation, solarium areas amid luxuriant vegetation, and fresh, warm water, you’ll spend a delightful day at Aqualand. There are attractions for all age groups and clear, precise user instructions clearly visible near the games. Qualified graduate personnel, identifiable by their uniforms, monitor everything you do and supervise all the pools.
There’s a place for the smaller ones, specially designed for them on their own scale.
NB the attractions are subject to conditions concerning age, height, weight and abilities, which vary from park to park.

  • Spa

High, wide sliding doors let the sunshine fill the rooms all year round.
A 12m heated indoor pool with hydro-massage jets, jacuzzi, hammam and sauna with essential oils.
Indoor/outdoor terrace to relax and admire the view.

  • Cookery lessons

Our chef will organise a cookery lesson with a seasonal starter, main course and dessert. During the lesson, each person will make the chosen menu in individual portions and you’ll be able to taste and compare your dishes and those of the chef at the end of the lesson!  A mouth-watering activity that will tickle the taste-buds of young and old alike!

  • Canyoning

Do you like water and nature? Then you’ll adore canyoning! With this sensational activity you’ll discover the beauty of the Caroux canyons, carved out over time by water. The goal is to descend the torrents over a succession of waterfalls, and criss-cross the canyon by walking or swimming, on slides, by rappels with ropes and by jumping. Everything you need to have fun!!!

  • Via Ferrata

With the Via Ferrata, you’ll enjoy landscapes offering superb views in perfect safety, even for beginners. The Via Ferrata is a sports course constructed along the rock walls, equipped with cables, ladders and zip wires that enable you to climb along the course.

  • Speleology

The Ponderatz Grotto offers all the ingredients of speleology – rivers, crossings on ropes and above all the wonderful beauty of the underground world.  There are 2 courses, the first for children of 6 years old and above, and the second for young people and adults.

  • Climbing

Guided by an instructor, you’ll climb great routes of several lengths in the Caroux mountains (from 150 metres).  An emotion-filled excursion amid magnificent landscapes!

  • Mountain-biking

Do you feel like a really peaceful ride?
Would you like to discover the High Languedoc off the beaten tracks?
Go off for a ride with one of our guides. They’ll adapt the route to suit your level and your wishes.  We also offer a ride through the vines before a visit to the Roquebrun wine cellar and a tasting of the products there in the company of a winemaker who’s mad about mountain-biking!

  • Canoe and kayak on the river

A water course for the whole family that’s fun and varied.
The Orb River runs between gravel banks and sandy beaches. The river increases its speed as the rapids get swifter towards Colombières sur Orb. After the slide, the second part, up to the arrival at the Tarassac base, is more energetic! This trip offers an amazing panorama across the Caroux mountains, the Arles gorges and the Albine tower.
Keep your eyes open, you’re sure to spot grey herons and black kites circling spectacularly above the river.

  • Electric scooter and tasting (delicatessen meats, cheeses, waters and wines)

Qualified instructors supervise you for the descents and protective equipment is supplied (gloves and helmets); insurance is included. It’s best to wear long trousers (such as tracksuits) for the descents on the paths (red or black).  The descents are not speed runs but recreational rides, open to everybody from 7 to 77 years old.

  • Fly Zone: free fall simulator

Chutextrem is a parachute centre that enables you to discover the unique sensations of free fall in tandem jump.
Our parachute club offers you the chance to treat yourself to an initiation into skydive and parachute jumping in the company of parachuting professionals.

Saint Thomas golf course enjoys a very special setting, surrounded by typically Mediterranean garrigue, this superb site offers a wide expanse where green areas and unspoilt nature exist in harmony.
